Announcing Our Live In Care Assistant Of The Month!

We have recently introduced a new monthly award that seeks to recognise the hard work and dedication of our Live in Care Assistants and are delighted to announce that Live in Care Assistant Maimuna has received our first monthly award.
We have recently introduced a new monthly award that seeks to recognise the hard work and dedication of our Live in Care Assistants and are delighted to announce that Live in Care Assistant Maimuna has received our first monthly award.The role of Live in Care Assistant is very different in that they have the privilege of living with our customers in their own home to provide round the clock support.
There is a friendship that builds between the customer and Live in Care Assistant, however this also remains a professional relationship.
Often our Live in Care Assistants become like a part of the family and whilst they need stamina and emotional resilience, the role is immensely rewarding.
Maimuna has been recognised as she is a tremendous asset to us and real credit through her role. She regularly receives compliments from her customers as well as her colleagues.
In particular, the son of one customer she supports explained:
Caring for our mother must at times be frustrating as she is very set in her ways, but Maimuna has from the outset been kind and compassionate with her at all times.
In particular, I would like to emphasize the care and compassion Maimuna showed when my mother fell over recently.
There was a two hour wait for the ambulance, during which she cared for my mother while she remained on the floor as she could not be moved, and then Maimuna spent the night with us at the hospital.
We all feel Maimuna is very deserving of this award.

I am delighted to be able to launch our Live in Care Assistant of the month award as it is something that really helps to recognise the different type of support our Live in Care Assistants provide.
