Paul Ovens - London MarathonOn Sunday 24th April, one of our care assistants, Paul Ovens,
completed the London Marathon for charity.

Paul was raising money for the Salvation Army, who will use the funds raised to help victims of human trafficking and people in distress. He smashed his target of £2,000 by raising an amazing £2,300. This was Paul’s first marathon and he completed it in 6 hours 25 minutes.

Paul said:

The support is amazing – 2 million people on the streets – and running around the sights of London, eg, over Tower Bridge, and finishing by Buckingham Palace and down the Mall was fantastic. Thanks for all the support.”
Everyone from Bluebird Care Cornwall North would like to say a huge well done to Paul for such a fantastic achievement.
