My name is Lynn. I am 50 years old and I receive support from Bluebird Care Sunderland. This support allows me to live a very happy life in my own home. I have made some great relationships with staff. It is always a nice atmosphere and we always have fun. Thanks to support from staff I feel I have my own identity back. A while ago I did not even want to get up on a morning but now I look forward to each day.
I love Bluebird Care because they will do anything for me. The carers bend over backward to help me. Bluebird Care are a very friendly company where everyone is easy to talk to. It is a pleasure to have them help me. B&L (office staff) are like my best friends. I love them , they are my lifeline.
When I reluctantly accepted that my mother could no longer care for herself on a full time basis I didn't know where to turn for help. Luckily, a friend recommended Bluebird care and I feel assured knowing she is in safe hands. Their customer service and support is second to none and I can sleep easier knowing my mother has the care she needs.
After trying several home care companies in Sunderland I found Bluebird Care. The best care I have ever received by a wide margin - they really do care!
I thoroughly enjoyed my time away on holiday. I wanted to go on my holiday to Matlock as it was my first time going away with “the lads” and away from the constrictions of life at home. This holiday enabled my independence to reach another level. When I first arrived to the lodge we were staying in, I was amazed and it was like an “a-listers house” and I was very impressed. I enjoyed the company of my friend Andrew and his care worker David. I was also happy that my live-in carer Paul was willing to support me to go away on this holiday, and I enjoyed his company too. Whilst we were away we had a bbq and a good laugh. I visited the Crich tramway museum, which I found good fun, but unusual. I also visited a massive mansion called Chatsworth house, which boasted the biggest gardens I’ve ever seen. All in all my time away on holiday was fantastic and I would love to do it again in the future.
Throughout my degree, the care I received from Bluebird was outstanding. They were incredibly understanding of the flexibility I required due to an unstable timetable, study groups etc. and they went out of their way to ensure I was always getting the best out of university. They were always attentive to my needs, very helpful, friendly and dedicated. I was able to relax and focus on my work in what could have potentially been a very difficult and stressful environment had I not had Bluebird's support there. Without their help I would have struggled to attend university as much as I did and may have dropped out or not achieved as good a grade as I did. Their support was fundamental to my university experience.
Bluebird care are very reliable, punctual, friendly. Would recommend Bluebird to anyone to care for their loved ones.
We have had Bluebird Care for nearly two years and we find them supportive, helpful, caring and nothing is a bother to them at all. I found them honest and reliable also trustworthy, goes up and above beyond their line of duty. We would recommend Bluebird Care above any other care companies and we have no plans to change.
