Dementia Care

There are over 850,000 people living with dementia in the UK [Alzheimer's Society] with this number set to rise alarmingly in coming years.

Here at Bluebird Care on the Wirral, we believe in helping people stay in their own homes for as long as possible. Dementia is a journey, at times a difficult one, but it most certainly does not mean that those living with dementia cannot have perfectly fulfilling lives, particularly in the early stages of the disease.

With early diagnosis, input from Community Mental Health teams, Memory Clinics and care providers such as ourselves working in conjunction with people with dementia & their families, many people live with dementia for many years and we're passionate about helping our clients stay at home for as long as it's in their best interests. We never forget that our clients are individuals with a lifetime of interests, hobbies, passions and experiences within them.

Our teams of carers can help in many ways from medication prompts through to personal care, household chores, shopping trips, companionship and meal preparation - not forgetting that many of our clients with dementia also have a range of complex physical problems which is why every care package we provide is bespoke to that individual.

Because we care like a care Company should!
