My first few weeks at Bluebird Care enveloped me in one basic truth. “There is more to give to the world than the world will ever demand”. While empathy is inborn for me, the work with the company has taught me that it is important to not only care for people but much more to care for them the way they need to be cared for.

 I am confident that with the ever listening ears, I am encouraged to look out for more in my career whilst working here. it has been an awesome experience for me so far. I look forward to more. 😊

I am fortunate enough to have two alternating live-in carers who are great,  both very capable and friendly. They are both also very popular with the visiting carers. They both speak very good English so there is never any communication problems and sometimes with one of them especially we can communicate without words! They both also love my cat and play with her often and have their own littles routines  and games with her, which is lovely to see. I don't think I could get on with anyone who didn't like my Bob! They can both be good fun but also a little more serious when dealing with the more import aspects of looking after me (i.e. dealing the copious quantities involved in my meds). They have both been with me for so long now that I can't and don't want to imagine life without them.

We can’t thank you enough for the kindness and support you offered our Dad in his final weeks. Your support enabled us to keep dad in his home which was a wish he clearly wanted to come true.

You not only supported him but also myself. How wonderful it was to look out at the funeral and see so many of your lovely faces smiling back at me! Keep on doing the fantastic job you do! As a family we will always be incredibly grateful to you all.
