Our Live-in Care Assistants

Was born in Nigeria but now lives in the UK.  Began her career as a teacher in 1996 but now enjoys working as a carer. Enjoys cooking and is happy to experiment with new recipes.  

Been in care for over 15 years. Is friendly and outgoing, a flexible person who is always willing to learn. Enjoys cooking, sewing, gardening, going out for walks, reading, watching documentaries, table games and music. Likes to be involved in the customers’ interests.

From Romania, A naturally calm, caring person who enjoys looking after the welfare of others. Is empathetic, observant and patient. Enjoys cooking.

Actively involved in helping the customer to stay independent.  A good cook and enjoys dancing and listening to music. I love spending time with my children and going for a walk in the park.

Lives in Doncaster but born on the beautiful French island of Martinique. A keen footballer but unfortunately sustained a knee injury which prevented a professional career. Became a chef and worked in a restaurant for many years and was able to create dishes.

Came to the UK in 2006 to care for his father-in-law.  Enjoyed caring so became a professional carer.

Moved to the UK in 2003 from Jamaica.  Worked in care since 2007. Loves to cook, enjoys housework and caring for customers. A happy, smiley and sociable person.

Lives in Southend with his wife and two daughters.  Has been with Bluebird Care for many years, initially as a domiciliary carer moving to become a live in carer 2 years ago.  Hardworking and honest, gets great satisfaction from helping people.

I’m 49 years old and I have been in the care sector for 15 years.

I have two grown up children.

I have enjoyed covering all aspects of care and gaining a wide range of knowledge, working within care home and also looking after my customers in their own homes as a live-in carer.

I enjoy meeting new people and I’m happy and friendly and have a positive attitude, nothing is ever too much trouble.

I have completed all mandatory training including; manual handling, first aid awareness, medication, safeguarding, COSHH, food hygiene, infection control and Dementia awareness. I have a Level 3 in Health & Social Care.

Throughout my day I assist with my customers medication, personal care, assisting with their mobility, cook home cooked meals, engage in their interests, and promote their independence.

I hold a current clean enhanced DBS.
