Motor Neurone Disease Association's Golf DayBluebird Care Gateshead were proud supporters of Motor Neurone’s Disease (MND) awareness month, helping to raise awareness against what is still a relatively unknown disease.  It can be an aggressive and devastating illness for which there is still no known cure or evidence as to how or why people develop MND.

Bluebird Care Gateshead were excited to take part in a local charity golf day on 12 June 2015 at Wilton Golf Club in support of the MND Association.   The golf day was hosted by Jon and Allison Hinchliffe who have supported the MNDA charity for over 3 years.

This is a charity very close to their hearts after Allison’s dear friend and former work colleague was diagnosed with MND in 2011 and who sadly lost her fight in November 2012.   The day raised an amazing total of £1,300 for the MND Association, bringing the total Jon and Allison have raised since 2012 to over £6,000.
