Reengage Community Groups
Partnership with Reengage: Tackling Loneliness in over 75s
Our Reengage Community Groups are friendly, welcoming sessions designed to help older adults build new connections and enjoy meaningful social time. These groups are part of Reengage’s national mission to reduce loneliness for people aged 75+, offering free, volunteer‑supported activities that bring companionship back into people’s lives.
Who Can Join?
Anyone aged 75 or over can be referred to Reengage. Referrals can be made by family, friends, neighbours, health and social care professionals, community organisations or charities. You do not need to be a Bluebird Care customer to attend, and we encourage you to bring along friends or family members who may benefit.
Free to Attend
All Reengage services are completely free, including attendance at groups and the support provided by trained volunteers.
Access Guidance
There is parking directly outside the office, and the entrance is flat and fully wheelchair‑friendly, ensuring smooth access for all visitors. Inside the building, there is step‑free access into the room, and a downstairs toilet available for convenience.
Transport Support
If you need help getting to the group, we can arrange transport. Reengage volunteers across the UK regularly support guests by providing safe, friendly transport to and from sessions.
When & Where
Our local Reengage group meets: Every third Wednesday of the month at Heath House Training & conference Centre, Cheadle Road, Uttoxeter ST14 7BY at 2.30pm - 4pm
These relaxed sessions offer conversation, companionship and a warm, supportive environment. Whether you stay for a short visit or the whole afternoon, you’ll be welcomed with kindness and a smile.
