January 2020 - Employee Recognition Awards!

Everyone of our Bluebird Care team goes above and beyond in what they do & we would love to be able to reward them all. Each month, we give two awards, recognising those who have truly shone.

Our January 2020 team meeting was the perfect forum to present our two monthly revognistion awards - Employee of the Month and Above & Beyond Award.

Characterisised by consistency, praise and compliments received, feedback from customers and team alike, reliability of service and commitment to training, the Employee of the Month award for January 2020, was awarded to Care Assistant Gayle! 

Gayle, who began with Bluebird Care in 2017, was recognised this month due to the level of compliments she received throughout January, from both customers and colleagues alike.  Gayle, who is part of a specialist complex care team, is renowned for her consistency and reliability, with a cheerful and positive demenour.  This month, Gayle has shone so bright, the feedback was outstanding.   Well done Gayle!  Well deserved!

The Above & Beyond January 2020 award, recognised Anita, Care Assistant in the Oakham & Rutland Team.  Anita received great praise from a customer who often suffers from low mood, who wanted to thank Anita for truly going beyond her caring role in supporting the customer with difficult days by not just listening but also introducing some great intiatives, including a 'positivity' note book, to focus on positive things when things are both good and sometimes a struggle.  The customer has been delighted and it has really helped to make a difference,
