Congratulations to both Mike Watson and Rebecca Woolrich on being awarded ‘Employee of the Month’ for September 2020.

Both Mike and Rebecca have recognised for showing true Bluebird Care dedication and values aswell as providing an outstanding level of care.

Mike has been awarded due to his positive influence on customers. He has demonstrated an excellent commitment to his role by going the extra mile for our customer, Mr B, who recently celebrated his birthday.  Mike took Mr B on a trip down memory lane and both visited the hometown where Mr B grew up as a young child.  In addition to this Mike conducted some additional research and discovered some valuable information regarding Mr B’s family and friends.  Mike’s level of commitment has demonstrated his consistency in providing the best care in a person centred way.

Rebecca has been commended due to her caring and compassionate nature, having offered extra support to a customer living with Dementia. She has displayed a great deal of initiative, all within her own time, by creating and laminating a collage of pictures that our customer enjoys but would often damage. Rebecca’s empathy and ability in really helping the customer shows an admiral approach aswell as an exceptional level of dedication.

Excellent work and well-done to both Mike and Rebecca. Thank you for going above and beyond and all that you do to help make a real difference to someone’s life.   We are so proud of you!!!
