We recently arranged a trip out to Alexandra Park for our customers and care assistants and had a fantastic time despite some changeable weather.
Where they needed, we arranged transport for customers and then provided lunch including some gorgeous homemade cupcakes and teas / coffees.
The feedback we received from customers and staff alike about this trip out was incredibly positive and all that joined commented on how much they enjoyed it.

The outing was an excellent opportunity to relax, enjoy the outdoors and spend some time out and about which can, for some of our customers, be a challenge due to their mobility.
Being relatively local, Alexandra Park is a popular destination where, as well as having expansive grounds, there are some wonderful flowerbeds, a lake and cafes to enjoy.
I thought it was really lovely to have something of a family day out where I enjoyed lunch and a cup of tea with my carer and meet her children.

Not only did we enjoy the fantastic company but had the bonus of Registered Manager Jess’ father leading some music on a band sitting on the bandstand, serenading us with some classics.
Trips out like this make a big difference and are an excellent opportunity to sit back and relax.
