We pride ourselves in providing our customers with well trained and qualified carers that go the extra mile for your loved ones. Meet Dee, Care supervisor at Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings.
We recently spent some time with Dee where she explained in depth her role as a supervisor and how her staff surpass expectations when it comes to caring for customers.
After completing a college course in care and volunteering at local care homes, Dee quickly found that her purpose and passion was in the care sector. With being supervisor for just over a year at Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings, Dee shares just how impactful and warming the carers that she manages, and customers are.
She mentions that ironically, she finds herself ending her working days feeling uplifted by the stories and compassion that customers have and share with her.
As well as attending to the care of customers, Dee’s day to day responsibilities expand into spot checks on staff and medicine competency for which she is trained and qualified to carry out.
For me, care is all about seeing a huge smile on the faces of my customers and seeing my colleagues enjoying their role.
It is a priority of hers to make sure that all customers under her care have a thorough care plan, ensuring that all requirements and needs are met. In addition to this, she regularly liaises with the family of customers that are in her care to make certain that they are happy with the service provided for their loved one.
At Bluebird Care Rother & Hastings we take a considered and comprehensive approach to ensuring that the care that we provide not only meets your expectations but is what you require.
Our Care Assistants carefully read care plans provided by supervisors such as Dee and write a detailed account of activities undertaken during the visit, which is retained and can be accessed by the customer.
We are incredibly proud of Dee and all that she has accomplished in such a short amount of time. She truly goes the extra mile for our customers, her drive and passion shines through and is greatly appreciated it.
