Bluebird Care Plymouth & South Hams Receive CQC Outstanding Rating
During May 2024 the CQC surprised us with a visit to our office in Plympton and carried out an inspection of services managed by Bluebird Care Plymouth and South Hams. Following on from our rating of Overall Outstanding in our last inspection in 2019, we were equally proud and excited when the CQC announced in August 2024 that we had once again reached the high accolade in the health and social care sector.
They wrote that customers had noted that we are "highly organised, efficient, warm and kind and the staff are polite and respectful, overall people who used the service and their relatives praised the care delivered, the staff, and the management team”.
The information the CQC reviewed was pertained from our services provided throughout the greater Plymouth area, Plympton, Plymstock and areas in the South Hams such as Wembury and Newton Ferrers.
They assessed our home care service and our live-in care service in which we provide both personal care, domestic visits, companionship and more complex care for our customers living with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
