Bluebird Care North Northumberland Shines at the Regional Care Awards

For everyone at Bluebird Care North Northumberland, it was a proud moment to see the dedication of our colleagues acknowledged in front of the wider care network.

The categories on the day were Live in Carer of the Year, Dementia Champion, Care Expert of the Year and Coordinator of the Year, each shining a light on a different part of the exceptional care delivered across Bluebird Care North Tyneside, North Northumberland and Sunderland & North Durham.

Away from the awards themselves, the day was full of celebration. Lovely food was served throughout, and the entertainment did not disappoint, with musical bingo proving a particular highlight (some brilliant prizes were up for grabs) alongside dancing and plenty of laughter. During the ceremony, our team also had the chance to meet CEO Jonathan Gardener and catch up with familiar faces from across the network.

Congratulations to our four finalists, Mobola, Michelle, Rachael and Elaine. Michelle was named Dementia Champion in recognition of her exceptional support for customers and families navigating a dementia diagnosis, guiding them through what can be an incredibly difficult time. Mobola was celebrated for her outstanding live in care, having made a profound and lasting difference to the gentleman she supports.

Both women, along with our other finalists, embody everything Bluebird Care stands for: premium care delivered with genuine compassion. We could not be prouder to have them as part of our team.
