Flying High Programme

Our Flying High Bluebirds have definitely flown high and we are very proud!

On Thursday 15th we celebrated the end of our first ‘Flying High’ programme with some fabulous presentations and a delicious Afternoon Tea. Serena, Gloria, Katie and Marcella each prepared a presentation based on one of the sessions from the programme. They were all unique, informative and showed a great deal of passion and we all learnt more about Dementia, Autism, Care Plans and Recruitment. Despite a few nerves, everyone did brilliantly well, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. We were joined by Beverly Futtit, CEO of CAHSC Learning Partnership, who presented the candidates each with a specially commissioned copy of Ian Donaghy’s (Big Ian) new book, ‘A Pocketful of Kindness’ The book is extra special as the Cornwall logo was designed by our very own Emma Williams.
