COVID -19 YOU are SAFE in our HANDS

Our team were EARLY ADOPTERS of the safety measures needed to mitigate the transmission risk of COVID-19.
Bluebird Care Market Harborough and Oadby were early adopters of safety measures required to mitigate risk of transmission of COVID-19. In February 2020 we:
- Secured adequate supplies of the now necessary face masks and face shields.
- Enrolled our care team on the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine’s course, ‘Tackling the Novel Coronavirus’ and have continued to provide training as the Pandemic developed.
- Introduced mandatory face masks at all care visits where care assistants were within 2 metres of customers.
- Supported our care team to remain safe outside of care visits by providing the latest guidance from our regulator the Care Quality Commission, Public Health England, Social Care Institute of Excellence, to name but a few sources.
- Continued to ensure that mental health and wellbeing of all our care team and customers was at the forefront of our minds.
