Four daring cyclists joined in with Bluebird Care UK's national fundraising effort for Alzheimer's Society.
We started the Northern Bluebird relay on 16th September, cycling from our offices in Caton, through Lancaster, along Morecambe Prom, up to Carnforth, across to Kirkby Lonsdale and through the beautiful Barbondale to Dent where we handed over the baton to our Bluebird neighbours at Richmond and Hambleton.
Our team of four - Registered Manager Alyson, Live in Care Manager Jana, and Directors Claire and David - took a leg each of the 36 mile route, which we completed in 4.5 hours. It was yet another gorgeous day and we really enjoyed it, but it what a relief to hand the baton over to Heather across the border........The next two hours were spent sitting down in a cute tea-shop.
