Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey Celebrates CQC ‘Outstanding’ Rating with visit from the Mayor
Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey have been rated as ‘Outstanding’ – the highest possible award – following their latest inspection by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator of health and social care services in England.
To celebrate the ‘Outstanding’, the home care provider was pleased to welcome the Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Gina Adamou, who visited their offices to meet some of the team, present certificates of achievement and join in the celebrations.
Cllr Gina Adamou, Mayor of Haringey, said:
“I was delighted to visit Bluebird Care to congratulate them on becoming the first CQC-registered care provider in Haringey to receive an ‘Outstanding’ overall rating. This is a remarkable achievement given the challenges brought about by the unprecedented impacts of the pandemic. On behalf of everyone in Haringey I’d like to thank the whole team for the amazing work they do to support some of our most vulnerable residents.”
Bluebird Care Highgate & Haringey provides professional home care services throughout their local community, including day visits, night visits, live-in care, companionship, complex care and more.
In the report, the home care provider was particularly recognised for their responsiveness and how well-led the service is. Their customer care plans were judged as being proactive, thorough, and reflecting the individual needs of how each customer wishes to receive their care.
There was also positive recognition of the home care provider’s performance and approach during the COVID-19 pandemic, where robust infection control practices and precautions were introduced and followed to minimise the risk of infection, and ensured customers were attentively cared for in their own homes at all times.
