Support and Activities for People Living With Dementia and Their Carers 

The Alzheimer’s Society offers a range of support groups and activities around Gloucestershire. These include: 
  • Singing for the Brain, held twice a month each in Bishops Cleeve, Gloucester, Shurdington, and Stonehouse. 
  • An art group held on alternate Tuesdays in Gloucester (which currently has a waiting list). 
  • Young Onset Dementia Activity Group, held on the last Wednesday of the month, from 11.30a.m. to 1.30p.m., at Gloucester Farmers’ Club, Greville Close, Gloucester, GL2 9RG. 
  • Memory Cafes held once a month each in Cheltenham, Cirencester, Gloucester, Painswick, Shurdington, and Tewkesbury.
