 Bluebird care – Hattrick of “Outstanding” inspections   On taking the step to start Bluebird Care in March 2011 Sara and I were motivated to deliver a standard of care that we would demand for our own family members and that our staff would feel proud to work for.   This summer we have taken a significant stride towards achieving this following the inspection of each of our 3 locations Exeter, East Devon and Exmouth.

On taking the step to start Bluebird Care in March 2011 Sara and I were motivated to deliver a standard of care that we would demand for our own family members and that our staff would feel proud to work for.
 
This summer we have taken a significant stride towards achieving this following the inspection of each of our 3 locations Exeter, East Devon and Exmouth.
 
In a first for any provider in the South West all our services have been rated “Outstanding” in 4 of 5 of the inspection standards.  Our locations are now three of the 20 highest rated Home Care locations out of the 9,000 in England
 
Deborah Ivanova, Deputy Chief Inspector, Adult Social Care, said;
“This is the third branch run by the husband and wife team, that has been awarded Outstanding. People were clearly placed at the heart of a well led service which had an enabling culture. The caring and compassionate staff at Bluebird Care provided exceptional care where people felt valued and empowered.
“It is always positive to hear from people and their relatives about how the staff and management team exceeded their expectations to provide each individual with excellent care. I would like to congratulate the service on attaining an overall rating of Outstanding.”
 
Sara and I can assure you all that we will not sit on our laurels, neither do we accept that the rating means that every single visit passes without incident, we are therefore reinvigorated in our commitment to serve our local community by working to continuously improve our Outstanding services.
