Derek and his late wife found their Essex home while cycling the countryside on a tandem. It was derelict, two up and two down, but she knew it was the one. Together they brought it back to life, and her garden became so beautiful they opened it to the public.
Today Derek still tends his greenhouses, his grapevine and his runner beans. His daughters would love him to move closer, but all his memories are here. Our Care Experts help him stay, from everyday support at home to trips out for his shopping and medication.
