Leaders in Care awards: Registered Care Manager of the year
Kayley Ginn, our Registered Manager was nominated as one of just four national UK finalists for Registered Manager of the Year 2025 in the Leaders in Care Awards. Kayley is the heart of our service, guiding families through their most challenging moments and leading all our care from home to live-in, specialist, complex and end-of-life care with professional, compassionate dedication and we’re incredibly proud to have her leading our team. We celebrate and recognise her for the difference one exceptional manager can make.

At the Bluebird Care Conference 2025 in Manchester, our Director, Jonathan Billington, was a finalist in the People and Culture Award. This highlights his commitment to putting people before profit, building strong teams, and fostering a culture rooted in care, dignity, and respect. "I am proud to be recognised for an award that reflects what matters most – people" Jonathan shared. "Our teams bring compassion into care every day. This remains the vision and purpose for Vanessa and I". Thanks to all our staff for continuing to make this vision a reality.

Customer Care Manager Rhiann Davies received the award for excellence in customer care, ensuring every customer feels valued and supported.

Jonathan Billington, franchise owner shares: “A decade ago, I saw first-hand how home care provided peace of mind, a sense of calm and happiness for a close relative. This inspired me to open my own Bluebird Care franchise. Our mission has always been to support our customers with respect, professionalism, and holistic care. Today, I’m proud to witness the positive impact we make, treating every customer as we would our own family.”
