COVID-19 update

The position in relation to the Covid-19 Pandemic is one that has changed dramatically over time, and we have been ensuring that we keep fully abreast of all of the recommendations from Public Health England.

We have also been able to ensure that throughout the epidemic, that all of our care assistants have been provided with all recommended Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) despite the well documented difficulties that there have been in this.

We have also been able to ensure continuity of care throughout, with our office remaining open and all arranged care visits having been completed, as well as having been able, at short notice to step in and provide additional care when required.

We will continue to provide high quality care to our customers, with well trained and resourced care staff who will always take the best possible care to ensure the safety of customers and themselves.

All of our care assistants are now fully vaccinated in line with the new legislation coming into force on 1st April 2022.

All of our care assistants have Covid-19 tests twice a week, but in addition to that any care assistant who reports having symptoms is immediately removed from the rota and advised to isolate for the requisite period.

All care assistants are supplied with infra-red thermometers so that their own temperatures and those of customers are checked for every visit.
