Today is International Women’s Day, and we asked some amazing women from across Bluebird Care for advice. This year, the women in care have contributed so much, caring for the nation. 💙✊ #IWD2021

International Women’s Day is a global day which has been marked since 1911, and celebrates women’s achievements while calling for a more gender-balanced world.

Krissy Rice, Registered Manager at Bluebird Care Colchester & Tendring and Braintree & Uttlesford, said: "International Woman's Day is a time to celebrate the success and stories of women, and we are proud of every single woman who works with us to create a better community, and the women in our care who continue to live independently, share their wisdom and astonish and empower us with the story of their lives. Thank you."

This year's theme of International Women's Day is #choosetochallenge so we asked our wonderful team what advice they would give to their younger selves. Here are a few of our favourites:
