Dying Matters Awareness Week

A Conversation with Becky Rix, Clinical Lead RGN
“People can die peacefully at home—with dignity, with respect, and surrounded by their loved ones.”

As part of our work to break down the stigma around end-of-life conversations, our Clinical Lead Becky Rix sat down to reflect on the difference compassionate, person-centred care can make.

In this short video, Becky shares her experience from working on our joint Rapid Response Service, created in partnership with local services to help people stay in their preferred place of care during their final days.

“End of life doesn’t have to be frightening.”
“It’s not always pain and fear—it can be peaceful.”
“People can die at home, the way they want to.”

We’re proud to support individuals and families through every stage of care—and to have clinicians like Becky leading with compassion, empathy, and expertise.
