Night time can be somewhat daunting for older people, with difficulty getting comfortable, sleeping, needing to get up for a drink or use the toilet during the night, it’s no wonder they can feel anxious or disorientated. Studies have shown that broken sleep patterns can in fact aggravate degenerative conditions such as dementia and can have a negative impact on the confidence of the older person living at home independently.
Overnight support is a great way to feeling confident and independent within your home, with no consideration of care homes needed. Here at Bluebird Care, our overnight support team ensure that you or your loved one can feel reassured, secure and independent within your/their own home. We know that everybody is different and each situation or condition varies, that’s why we tailor our overnight care around you and your requirements. Our carers can assist with toilet breaks, help you get comfortable in bed, help with complex care needs, administer medication throughout the night and provide an overall peace of mind for you.
Here at Bluebird care we understand that the transition to home care can be a sensitive and difficult time for both the older person and their family, but we offer a unique, high-quality tailored care and support service that can range from 30 minute visits, to 24 hour live-in care.
