Emma Taylor Company Director/Registered Care Manager

Emma joined our team in early 2012 shortly after Bluebird Care Central Bedfordshire started. Emma has been in the care environment for over 25-years working in many areas from learning disabilities to elderly covering residential, nursing homes, hospitals and sheltered accommodation Emma has worked at all levels and has a very good understanding of what is needed to support our customers and care workers in a happy and safe environment and strives to ensure the best care is given all the time.

Tammie Cooper Company Director

Tammie joined Bluebird Care in 2012 as a Care Expert before progressing to the office team as a Coordinator in July 2014. Since then, she has taken on further responsibility and remains a key part of the business’s development. With a career in care dating back to 1996, she brings extensive experience across adult care in residential settings and supporting individuals in their own homes. Her background enables her to provide high-quality, person-centred support to customers while offering guidance and encouragement to our Care Experts.

Holly Smith Lead Coordinator

Holly has been with Bluebird Care since March 2012. Holly was new to care at the time, but after a short while she knew it was the career she wanted. Over the years, she has worked her way up from Care Expert to Senior and is now our Lead Care Coordinator, supporting both staff and customers with dedication and professionalism. “It’s wonderful the opportunities Bluebird Care offer,” she says, highlighting her passion for helping others and commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

Nicola joined Bluebird Care in October 2012. When she first joined the company, she was ‘new to care.’ Initially she didn’t know if this was going to be a career for her. But, after a few weeks supporting people, it gave Nicola great satisfaction to know she was helping people to stay in their own homes. “Bringing a smile to people every day is a great pleasure” Since joining Bluebird Care Nicola has grown within the business and has worked at several different levels from Care expert to supervisor to currently working as a coordinator in the office.

Lisa Nyamurowa Area Supervisor

Lisa joined Bluebird Care a year ago through the sponsorship scheme as a care expert. Lisa has shown dedication and commitment and has now progressed to become an Area Supervisor within our team. “This has been a wonderful boost for me professionally. I love working with people and sharing their experiences, hence my background in caring for both adults and children. Making a difference, however small in people’s lives brings me great joy.”

Shanice joined Bluebird Care in 2023 as a Care Expert and progressed to the role of Area Supervisor in December 2025. Drawing on her previous experience within domiciliary care, she is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred support to customers in the community. Shanice is driven by a strong dedication to improving the lives of others and takes pride in contributing to the delivery of safe, compassionate, and consistently effective care every single day.

With a lifelong dedication to health and social care, Leyla has progressed from GCSEs to achieving an Honours degree in Professional Health Studies and nursing. She brings a strong clinical background, with experience in hospital as a healthcare professional and in the community, alongside leadership roles as a team leader and now supervisor. Her ambition is to move into management, where she can lead teams, drive excellence in care and make a lasting impact in the field.

As she progresses into the Senior role, Laura is committed to developing her skills and supporting the Area Supervisors.

She is currently studying for her Level 3 in Health & Social Care and is eager to continue developing her skills, knowledge, and leadership abilities. She is committed to delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care and takes pride in supporting both customers and colleagues, ensuring care that is consistently safe, compassionate, and dignified while fostering a positive, collaborative, and encouraging team environment that promotes growth and confidence.
