Michael Langham

Director & Owner

Michael was so impressed with the approach demonstrated by Bluebird Care he invested in his home territory of Cardiff North back in 2009. He is still very much involved in the development of the business, and has particular interest in exploring new bespoke ways of meeting people's needs.

Originally qualified as a Chartered Surveyor, Michael has an open and supportive management culture with an eye for detail and quality of service, acknowledging that people, from his own personal experience, are individuals and everyone is different.

Chris Binstead

Operations Manager

Chris joined Cardiff North at the beginning of 2019 after enjoying previous careers in the Footwear and Finance industries. While the Care sector is new to Chris, he brings a wealth of experience of sales, marketing and commercial operations.

Chris is Vice Chairman of Cardiff & Vale Domiciliary Providers Association.

Rhian Adams

Care Manager

Rhian has extensive experience of the Care Industry, and has been with Cardiff North since November 2019. During the last 11 years she has held roles with other providers from Team Leader, through Care Coordinator to Care Manager, and everything else in between! Having worked for some of the larger companies in the past, Rhian is enjoying the opportunity of working for a smaller, friendlier, less corporate office. 

Vikki Shatford

Care Co-Ordinator

Vikki has been with Cardiff North since 2013, progressing to the role of Care Co-ordinator in 2020. Vikki's extensive experience proves invaluable when dealing with both carers and customers needs. As Care Co-ordinator Vikki’s role is to ensure that our carers are in the right place, at the right time, to deliver the right care – no pressure then!  


Emily Jenkins

HR & Live-in Co-Ordinator

Since leaving university with a degree in Accounting and Finance, Emily developed her knowledge and experience of the finance industry before joining Bluebird. Since joining Cardiff North she has worked in all aspects of the business from caring to co-ordinating, personnel to purchasing. Emily is now putting all this experience to good use by developing and managing our new Live-in Care operation.

Jamie Jenkins


Jamie is an experienced and well qualified member of the care staff, and he has recently stepped up to the role of Supervisor. He is responsible for carrying out spot checks and observations of our carers, as well as carrying out assessments for new customers and reviews of existing customers.
