Jesus Green
A large, level green space along the River Cam, bordered by Victoria Avenue. Easy, flat paths make it good for a relaxed walk, and it's a lively spot in summer.
Midsummer Common
Sits right alongside Jesus Green along the river. Wide open grassland with grazing cattle in the warmer months — a local favourite for a peaceful stroll.
Parker's Piece
A large, open green right in the city centre, criss-crossed by paved paths. Great for a quick sit-down or gentle loop close to shops and cafés.
University Botanic Garden
A beautifully landscaped garden with themed trails and glasshouses (small entry charge for adults, free for under-16s). More sheltered and contained than the open parks above.
