Bluebird Care Walsall are taking part in the community fun day hosted by St Matthew's Church Walsall.

This is an annual event hosted by St. Matthew's church to bring together the community and families of Walsall for a day of fun and entertainment.

For everyone, there is a programme of live entertainment throughout the day featuring local school and community groups in two venues. There will also be plenty of food with a BBQ, Tea rooms serving cream teas, Asian food stall and cake stalls.

For children there is the usual attraction of a bouncy castle, but also penalty shoot out, fun craft activities, treasure hunt in the Memorial gardens, pet's corner, facepainting and a magician etc. and for those hungry moments, plenty of BBQ, cake and candies!

The Fireservice and Police will be there with their vehicles as well as the Midland Freewheelers who rush blood supplies to hospitals by motorbike.

Lots of charities and communitygroups will be there to promote their activities as will Mercedes, so you can spend time browsing the numerous stands and the many stalls selling  cakes, bric-a-brac, home- made foods, hand-crafted items and jewellery etc. etc..

The Walsall Silver Thread Tapestries will also be on display in the church on the day.
