We launch the exclusive groundbreaking real-time reporting system for unrivalled accuracy and responsiveness in care

This Monday we launched the PASSsystem - a ground-breaking new real-time electronic reporting system of customer care records designed to bring better and more accurate care to every customer.

What is the PASSsystem?

The PASSsystem is an electronic reporting system based on patent-pending technology. It enables fast and clear two-way communication between our carers and office team and gives us unprecedented accuracy and responsiveness in caring for our customers.

The PASSsystem is exclusive to Bluebird Care and we are the first and only homecare service in Trafford to have the system.  It’s the ONLY care planning, care notes and eMAR system to be CQC and Care Inspectorate cited, NHS England accredited and NICE compliant. We will be the ONLY care company in Trafford to have the PASSsystem.

How it works

Using the PASSsystem on new business smartphones, our carers record all the details of every customer visit and can tell us straight away what time they arrived with a customer, what tasks they completed and what medications they administered.

The system gives each visit a star rating and flags up any issues instantly so our office team can react quickly.

When it comes to medication, the PASSsystem offers unrivalled accuracy. Carers record medications, dosages and timings at every visit and we see this information straight away in the office. If we’re advised of a change in medication,  we pass this on to carers straight away.

The new openPASS app

The PASSsystem is joined by the exclusive new openPASS app allowing customers to view their daily records and care information on their smartphones and tablets in their own homes.

Soon the openPASS app will also allow families and loved ones living further away to gain secure remote access to daily visit notes from at any time and from anywhere in the world at any time for a small monthly subscription and with a customer’s permission.

Check up on relatives from anywhere in the world

Now a son in Australia can have peace of mind by seeing how his father’s care visit goes each time and reading regular updates from carers on his condition.

GPs, district nurses and other health professionals will also be able to use the service should a customer want them to. That means more eyes on a customer’s welfare and a huge leap in ‘joined-up care’.

Our team is already delighted with the PASSsystem with carers and managers excited to have the most advanced tools available to allow them to deliver the best homecare available.
