Bluebird Care Trafford has won the prestigious Business of the Year 2015/2016 title after being chosen from nearly 200 Bluebird Care offices across the country.

Each year, the Bluebird Care judging panel looks at all aspects of a care service and measures everything from staff selection and training to customer satisfaction. A huge quality audit is also made with independent healthcare experts looking at care workers and customers and along with every detail of a business. This impartial assessment gave Bluebird Care Trafford an unprecedented rating of 97 out of 100.

Accepting the award at a gala evening in Brighton in October, Bluebird Care Trafford Managing Director Ian Helsby paid tribute to his exceptional team.

"I’ve had a burning ambition to create the finest home care service since I opened Bluebird Care Trafford back in 2011,” he said. “I wanted our team to be the best trained, best equipped and best rewarded in the sector and they are. This award is testament to the wonderful people who take care of our customers every day. We’re very proud to be the best of the best."

Bluebird Care Chief Operating Officer, Duncan Berry added: “Bluebird Care has been delivering high quality care to thousands of customers at home for over a decade, and I’m thrilled to recognise the hard work Ian has been doing in Trafford.  Ian and his team deliver a very high quality service that goes above and beyond on every single visit.”

Bluebird Care Trafford is dedicated to ensuring that people have the option to receive high quality care in their own homes.  Launched in 2011, Bluebird Care Trafford now employs 60 staff delivering care to over 100 regular customers at home every week. In the next 12 months they will deliver more than 60,000 individual visits across Trafford.
