Armed Forces Day 29th June 2019

Bluebird Care Sunderland have been awarded the Bronze Award for the Employer Recognition Scheme. We support our Armed Forces & Reservists in what they do for the country & after they leave the service

Armed Forces Day is an opportunity for us to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets.

Armed Forces Day takes place on Saturday, 29th June 2019. The celebrations begin on Monday 24th June when the Armed Forces Day flag is raised on buildings and famous landmarks around the country. The UK Armed Forces defend the UK and its interests. Amongst others, they are busy working around the world, promoting peace, delivering aid, providing security and fighting terrorism.

Supporting our Armed Forces provides a much valued morale boost for the troops and their families. Let us not forget the valued contributions that the Armed Forces Veterans have made and including the Reservists and Cadets. Our Armed Forces could not do their job without the incredible support of their family and friends.
