Lynne has written the following article in celebration of her 5 years with Bluebird Care:

''My name is Lynne, and I was born with cerebral palsy. I'd lived in a few care homes, and one day I thought to myself, “Why don't I live independently?” I need 24-hour care, and for a long time I hired my own personal assistants. Then I heard about Bluebird Care. The Care Manager, Vicky, came out to meet me, to explore my care needs, and to see if the company could take me on. After two long weeks’ waiting, they came back and said YES, they had found suitable care assistants. Five years later, I am still with Bluebird Care. When I had a special birthday, a Director, Gareth, came over at 5 am to take me to a balloon ride I went on with my care assistant, Georgie. The other year I had a lot of problems and the management was out here to support me day and night. When we are looking for a new assistant for me, the office always includes me in finding the right assistant. I can write my own care plan if I wanted to - in fact I tell the office what I want to do. The management team got a ramp so that I could visit the Stroud office, as I am in a wheelchair and can't walk up a step. We have come through a lot together and I have learnt a lot about people and about myself. If you are looking for a care company, I would recommend Bluebird Care. They have helped me with all aspects of my life. I would like to say thank you all that who know me, but especially Gareth Powick and Vicky Hewer, and my carers Maria, Margarita, Tina, Roxy, and Yumi. Thanks for putting up with me and I hope that there will be many more years of Bluebird Care. Happy anniversary!''

Thank you to everyone involved in Lynne’s care for doing such a great job!
