Debbie saves the day!

Sevenoaks Care Manager, Debbie Moulton, got more than she bargained for when she accompanied a customer on a trans-Atlantic flight to visit family in Toronto in early January, 2014.

Debbie was forced to employ her Bluebird Care training, as well as her extensive experience of looking after customers with complex care needs, when several passengers fell ill mid-flight.

Debbie was then again called upon to assist for several hours in sub-zero conditions when the Canadian airport and support services ground to a halt in temperatures as low -45°C! Her ordeal was far from over, however, as her return flight home afforded her little relief…!

While this caused quite a stir locally, it came as no surprise to everyone at Bluebird Care Sevenoaks who benefit from Debbie’s experience, dedication and professionalism on a daily basis – especially our customers, many of whom called in to congratulate her on her efforts.
