Meet the Team

Leah Tickle

Care Coordinator and Deputy Manager

Leah’s career in Health & Social care began in 2003. She worked as a Nurse for 3 years prior to joining a busy family company, where she was part of the management.

Leah returned to Health Care in 2008, joining an EMI residential home and then going on to work in domiciliary care as a Care Co-ordinator.

Leah joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks in 2012 as a Care Co-ordinator, and the agency’s second employee! She thoroughly enjoys her busy and rewarding role. She works with an outstanding team and has received great support and training, which has enabled her to progress within the agency.

Leah feels that she has have never worked with such a dedicated and empathetic team of people which she believes is the biggest contributing factor to the high quality of care that the agency provides.

She thoroughly enjoys coming to work every day and taking on new challenges, and she loves the fact that no one day is ever the same.

Leah was appointed Deputy Care Manager in 2015, after Debbie Moulton took on wider responsibilities within the Company, and she is looking forward to her future with Bluebird Care Sevenoaks, and taking on future challenges.

Becky Clements

Care Supervisor

Becky's career in the Care sector began in 2007 when she began to work with dementia and the mental health area.

With this experience Becky joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks shortly after the office opened in 2012. Within a year, Becky's excellent work with customers earned her progression to Supervisor level, a role she enjoys immensely.  

She believes passionately in the Bluebird Care ethos with customers always at the centre of the Care process. Becky really enjoys the variability of her role and on occasions the challenges! Becky's care packages are all individually assessed and person centred. She takes great pride in being part of a team which enables and supports individuals to remain living independently in their own homes.

Karen Kutchera

Live-in Care Supervisor

Kari worked for South East Coast Ambulance Service for 11 years before joining Bluebird Care Sevenoaks as a Carer in early 2012. Later that year she moved to Wiltshire, where she continued her work as a Carer before returning to Sevenoaks in 2016.

With over a decade and a half of experience in the Healthcare sector, we are delighted to have Kari back with us, now in the office as a Supervisor, where her focus is solely on our Live-in Care customers. Unlike customers of “self-employed” Live-in Carers or supply-only agencies, Kari’s customers – and indeed her Carers too – benefit from her management skills and local presence – the office is never more than a few miles away. Having a smaller number of customers, typically with more complex needs, Kari is able to dedicate more time to each.

Kari has found the Sevenoaks team incredibly supportive in helping her manage the transition from Carer to Supervisor. Kari finds every day equally challenging and stimulating. She enjoys the close contact with her customers and Carers, making sure she finds time to visit each Live-in Care customer every week. 

Outside of work, Kari has two daughters – who keep her extremely busy! – though when she does have some spare time she enjoys sport and exercise, particularly netball and tennis.

Vicci Connolly

Care Supervisor

Vicci has been employed in the Care industry since 2003. She has worked in both Residential Care and Nursing Care Home settings, and has extensive experience of working with older people and those with Learning Difficulties and Physical Disabilities.

It was while working as part of a community project that Vicci realised that her passion lay in helping vulnerable and otherwise isolated people take an active and engaged part in community life, as much as it did in assisting them with their basic Care needs.

Vicci joined Bluebird Care Sevenoaks’s Domiciliary Care team in 2012. She was quickly promoted to the positon of Senior Care Assistant and finally to the office team as Care Supervisor in the autumn of 2015.

Vicci has made a flying start to her new role, enjoying the challenges and rewards in equal measure.

We are very happy that Vicci has chosen to further her career with us and believe that she is the perfect appointment to continue to deliver the exceptional service that our Sevenoaks customers have become accustomed to. 
 

Charlotte Gore

Care Coordinator

Charlotte is Sevenoaks-raised, and joined Bluebird Care as a Care Worker in 2012, after working in the health, retail and hospitality sectors. Charlotte's excellent work with her customers was recognised in 2014 when was invited to become the office's second Care Co-ordinator.

Charlotte's role is to work with Leah Tickle to ensure that all customer's requirements are carefully reflected in Care Workers schedules so that both customers and Care Workers have their respective needs met. This is a demanding role but one which Charlotte loves. She enjoys the interaction between customers and Care Workers and never has any doubt that when she does her job well, the effects are noticed and greatly appreciated by her customers.

Outside Bluebird Care, Charlotte is a keen fisherwoman! She is very active in local competitions and has competed at National Level since an early age. She recently travelled to Holland with the England ladies team to build her international experience!

Jayne Gorey

Community Liasion Manager

Jayne joined Bluebird Care Bromley in April 2017, in a new role as Community Liaison Manager. Jayne’s role is to promote and strengthen the links between the agency and the community, to assist with recruitment and help organise and coordinate customer events. Jayne also undertakes a similar role for the agency's sister operation in Sevenoaks.

Jayne has worked in various customer-facing and back-office roles in retail, administrative & secretarial work, and was self-employed for a period. For the 8 years prior to joining Bluebird Care Bromley, Jayne was the coordinator of volunteers for a Bromley charity managing and organising 40+ volunteers who assist the older community with aspects of daily life with which they struggle, such as shopping, driving to appointments and simply providing companionship.

Jayne has also organised many events from concerts, quiz nights to summer fairs to raise money for her children’s primary schools and the charity for which she worked.

Jayne feels strongly about upholding the welfare of older people and is proud to be working to raise the profile of an agency renowned for their high-quality service.

Jayne is married with three children and two dogs, she enjoys the gym and long walks around the area where she lives as well as spending time socialising with family and friends.

Olga Bagaley

Accountant

Olga was educated in England and South Africa and is currently working to complete her qualification as a CIMA Management Accountant. She is the in-house accountant responsible for the three franchised agencies owned by BenJeMax Limited, the Sevenoaks office holding company, which include the agencies in Bromley and Lewisham and Southwark. Olga has been with the company since May 2014, and this is her first foray into the Care sector.

Having worked in many areas such as Architecture, Security, Interior Design and the Oil and Gas industry, Olga decided it was time to get out of the "Central London rat race" and seek a position closer to home with an easier commute. 

She finds Bluebird Care a breath of fresh air! She enjoys working with her Care Sector colleagues and really values her contact with the agencies' wonderful customers with whom she has developed great relationships - even though they only speak to her to pay or query their bills! Olga feels that customers all seem to appreciate the hard work that everyone puts in, and in doing so, sh gets a real sense of accomplishment.
