Gemma just celebrated 6 years since joining Bluebird Care Milton Keynes!
"I moved to Milton Keynes back in 2013. After meeting my husband and having our first baby I wanted a job that was flexible around our life but also that made a difference. My friend who was a carer herself said I’d be great in care, if I’m honest I wasn’t sure it would be for me. Well 6 years and 2 children later I am now the care coordinator and doing my level 4 in health and social care. I worked part time when I first joined and when returning from maternity leave I joined the office team time while still regularly going out on the road caring for my customers in the evening and on weekends. I love my job. I love making a difference to my customers and working within our office team. The best thing I did was join Bluebird Care."
