Bluebird care Mid Staffs pride ourselves as being one big team, we strongly believe that  "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much, If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself" 

If we look after our care staff, our care staff will do a great job looking after our customers.

Samantha Taylor - Care Manager

Amy Wilson

Care Coordinator

Amy (Dot) joined us as a Care assistant in May 2017, Amy worked in domiciliary care especially enjoying working with our customers with Learning disabilities as this is a great passion of Amy’s. Amy developed her skills and knowledge quickly and it immediately became transparent that Amy had the skills we needed for the position of a care co-ordinator. In September 2018 Amy was offered the role of Care CoOrdinator and has become extremely popular with our care staff and customers. Amy has a very infectious personality and always goes above and beyond for everyone.  Amy has NVQ levels 2, 3 and 5.

Rachel Parry

Team Leader

Rachel started Bluebird Care in March 2019 as a care assistant. Rachel was very reliable and eager to progress her career, Rachel applied for a Field Care supervisor role in September 2021 and was successful. Rachel made the tough decision to step down from Field Care Supervisor in 2024 and is now a Team leader for one of our rehabilitation packages.

Rachel has achieved her care certificate and has a BTEC Health and Social Care level 2. Rachel is currently working towards her level 5 leadership and management qualification. 

Hayley Turner

Carer Mentor

Hayley started Bluebird Care Mid Staffs in 2017. Hayley has supported customers with a wide range of needs during this time. Hayley has supported customers with Dementia, Acquired brain injuries, learning difficulties, and general care needs. Hayley has a passion for making a difference and has recently found a new passion with supporting care staff and an interest in the management side of things. Hayley is very excited to start her job role. 

What do our carer mentor's do?

The role of the carer mentor is to perform duties and tasks to facilitate our customers to live at home in a safe secure and comfortable way, as well as supporting care staff to ensure they can do this competently.   To communicate with customers, customers families and office staff, To provide help and support to new care staff and other members of the team. To ensure the safety and care of all customers is always kept up right. 

 

 

Amy Mason

On Call Support

Amy started working for Bluebird Care Mid staff's in 2018 as a Care worker, Amy enjoyed this role however due to a change in her families circumstances was no longer able to commit to her original hours of work, We recognised Amy's potential and trialled a new position of 'Manager assistant' which we could be make more flexible for Amy. Amy did this role well and quickly up skilled herself in more of an admin role. Amy now works as On Call Support which means that Amy manages the emergency on call telephone and supports all care staff and customers. Amy has a great rapport with our care assistants and customers.  

Amy has obtained her Care certificate and a Level 2 certificate in understanding Autism. 

 

Bethany Anlow

On Call Support

Bethany has worked in many roles at Bluebird Care Mid Staffs. Bethany started at Bluebird Care Mid Staffs in 2013 as a care worker, Bethany applied and was successful with her application to become a Field Care Supervisor in 2016. Bethany started her family and decided she wanted to be at home more with her children. Bethany now supports care staff and customers on the on-call telephone and delivers a high standard of care during the week. 

Bethany has achieved her Level 3 in Health and Social Care. Bethany was also a train the trainer for manual handling.
