Most of our customers fund their own care but whether self- funding or by direct payments from the local social services or any other organisation, the quality of care we provide is of the same high quality.
Our Care Workers
These are the people who deliver care to our customers and so it’s vital that they are the right people for the job. They are very carefully selected ( two out of three applicants don’t get past the interview stage), police checked and then trained by Mina our Care Manager. After that they undergo extensive shadowing in the field. Only then are they ready to work for us.
All of them either already have or are working towards a level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care. They know that they have the full support and back-up of the office team at all times. They are continually monitored, supervised and assessed. We are very proud of them and know that they are doing a great job.
What our customers or their families have to say about us:
Many thanks for the help and very kind assistance you and your staff extended to Mum while she was under your care.”
I would like to offer my thanks for the absolutely first class care I received from your care workers, they were wonderful to me.”
My sister and I would like to express our gratitude for what you have done for our mother. The care she received from Bluebird Care was exceptional and we will always remember your kindness to her. Once again thank you for what you did for our family."
I would like to express my gratitude and compliment you and your staff for the way in which you have looked after Mrs.W at home. It has been difficult at times for everyone and Bluebird Care has certainly risen to meet the challenges in a first class manner. Once again many thanks.
- November 2013
Bluebird Care (Ealing) is rapidly becoming the first choice for Live-in care for the vulnerable people in the borough.
Our Live-in care service is proving more popular than we expected so we have decided to allocate more resources to recruitment and specialist training of the right people so that our care workers will be the best in the Borough.
Daniela our senior supervisor is going to focus on developing this part of our services to ensure that it meets the very high professional standards that our customers require.

Age UK West London Business Directory
We are very pleased to announce that AGE UK have decided to include Bluebird Care (Ealing) in their West London Business Directory.
This means that they have carried out checks and asked for references from some of our customers before approving us.
As a member of their directory we are permitted to use their logo to show that we have been approved by them. We are very proud to be associated with such a famous and well respected organization.
- August 2013
On 14th August we had an Annual Inspection from the CQC.
The inspector was with us for one whole day looking at customer and care worker files. Afterwards she spoke to some of our customers and care workers.
The Inspection Report makes good reading and it’s very rewarding to be told by the Regulator that we are providing a first class service ! (even though we knew that already).
One of their paragraphs reads as follows:
People told us that staff were polite and respectful when providing care for them. For example, one person said “The girls are delightful”. Another person told us “they are very professional and efficient”.
All of the people spoken with told us they generally had named staff who visited regularly and knew their needs. This meant that people received continuity of care and did not have to receive care from lots of different staff who were unfamiliar with their needs."
The praise we received is entirely thanks to our wonderful team of care workers and the office staff who keep everything running as smoothly as possible.
We are very pleased (if not particularly surprised ) to have received such a glowing report and will continue to strive to provide the highest quality of care for our many customers.
- July 2013
It seems that our reputation for providing high quality Live-In care is spreading.
Over the last two months we have doubled the number of customers for whom we provide this service. We and our customers see this as a really effective way of enabling vulnerable people to stay in their own homes and to feel safe and secure.
Our Live-in Care Workers are very special people and we spend a great deal of time and effort in sifting through our many applicants until we find that special one. The outcome is a very satisfied customer and a Care Worker who knows that they have the on-going support and back-up of a thoroughly professional office team.

Party in the Park
We were proud to be taking part in this year’s Ealing Party in the Park.
It’s an outdoor festival that includes stalls, children’s entertainers, live music, dancing, food and drink and a Victorian Carousel.
We had our own stall where we gave away hundreds of Bluebird Care balloons, pens and leaflets. Again we were briefly joined by our MP Stephen Pound and Ealing’s Mayor, Councillor Kamaljit Dhindsa who showed a great interest in Bluebird Care and what we do.

Pride in our People Awards
Once again this year Bluebird Care (Ealing) were major sponsors of the Ealing Gazette ‘Pride in our People’ awards.
These awards highlight and reward local people who give up their spare time to help others and we provided the prize for the winner in the ‘Key worker’ category. This year the prize went to a local paramedic who has consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty.
We were joined at the gala dinner by our two local MPs, Stephen Pound and Angie Bray who are both supporters of this award and a great evening was had by all.
