Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills in Local Recruitment Drive Following Recent Success

Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills, a leading home care provider, have kickstarted their local recruitment drive following the announcement that they will be opening a new office in Bewdley in the Autumn.

Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills specialise in working with customers who live with dementia, physical disabilities, and many other acute and chronic conditions. Working alongside its customers’ families, social services, and the NHS, they ensure each person receives the care they need, from 30-minute visits, to live in care.

Despite the challenges presented because of the pandemic, the home care provider has continued to go from strength to strength.

And now, following this increase in demand for home care services during the pandemic, Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills have set into motion efforts that will allow them to deliver their services to more vulnerable individuals within the community.

On 24th September team members from the home care provider attended an annual recruitment fair at Merry Hill Centre, hosted by local MP, Mike Wood.

Here, the team had an opportunity to speak with members of the public and discuss their exciting new opportunities.

Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills are initially recruiting for Care Assistants, however upon the opening of their new office the home care provider is hoping to create 30 new jobs for people within the region over the course of the year.

With a number of fantastic benefits and perks, pension scheme, life insurance, and great career development training and progression, Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills wants to give members of the local community who have endured a challenging time this past year an opportunity to reignite their career.

When asked what type of people they are looking to recruit,Nicola Witt, Director at Bluebird Care Dudley, Wyre Forest & Malvern Hills said:

“Initially we are eager to recruit people who have experience delivering care to customers in their own home, but we will also be looking for people without experience who have a real genuine desire to care for people and do a job that makes a real difference to other people’s lives. Given the nature of our work, driving is essential as you need to be able to visit people in their own homes.”

Reflecting on their planned expansion and why local recruitment is so important, Nicola Witt added:

“We are very excited about being able to offer our services to the people of Wyre Forest. We are really looking forward to opening our new office in the historic and beautiful town of Bewdley and getting involved in the local community.  It is important to us to recruit team members based in the Wyre Forest area as we want to bring jobs to local people.”
