Dancing for Charity

Bluebird Care York organised a charity dance for York Against Cancer

The evening kicked off with an hours Cha Cha Cha lesson given by Andrew Gant - Nicola's husband.  Nicola the director of Bluebird Care said "my husband Andy is a qualified dance teacher and we thought this would be a bit different.  And so many people love Strictly."

Around 80 people danced the night away to a range of latin and ballroom dances.

The event raised £725.00 for York Against Cancer.  

Julie Russell the general manager for York Against Cancer said "People had a great time and raised a lot of money for our fight against cancer.  We can't thank Bluebird Care and everyone who danced the night away enough for their fantastic efforts."
