Our Care Supervisor, Mel, noticed that a customer's garden was somewhat overgrown; it was difficult to get to the house and to take our customer's dog out twice a day. Something needed to be done!

One of our particularly vulnerable customers doesn't really have any support network around her to help out so Bluebird Care are happy to ensure that our customer stays safe and well and can enjoy staying in her own home.

A particular joy for our customer is taking her beloved dog into the garden and our carers are happy to walk her dog when she is unable to; however, when Mel, our Supervisor, noticed that her garden was somewhat overgrown and uncared for she realised that not only was this a problem for our Carers approaching the house, but it wasn't pleasant for the Carers walking the dog either.

Mel and our Lead Coordinator, Michaela, agreed that something could be done to help out and decided to spend some of their spare time tidying up the garden so that it was more pleasant for our customer and her dog. Mel even persuaded her son to help with the task!

The picture shows that a little bit of extra thoughtfulness and assistance can make a great difference to our customers and of course, at Bluebird Care we are always happy to go that extra mile.

Thank you Mel, Michaela and Finn!
