Bluebird Care Worcester & Wychavon’s Rebecca Hatch competed in Relay for Life on the 2nd and 3rd of July in Evesham, the most successful Relay for Life in England.

Rebecca and her team of 10 managed to raise over £4000 for Cancer Research UK already! She is already looking to take part next year and will be the team captain!

Relay for Life is a fundraising event organised by Cancer Research UK. Teams come together to walk around a track for the duration of the two days. One member of each team has to be on the track at all times. While the relay is going on there are many other activities to keep everyone entertained such as music, games and food! The relays take place over night, symbolising that cancer never sleeps.
