Happy Valentine's Day! We're spreading the love today and sharing the best love advice and stories we've received from our team and customers.

Today we help bring people together. Our carers are out delivering our annual wooden red rose and a voucher for all our customers to book in a free one-hour social call with Bluebird Care:

We've been doing this for 10 years and have donated over 2,000 hours worth of care to support our customers and their families.

From buying clothes for his wife, visiting the local fisherman's club or sorting through a button drawer, our customers appreciate the extra complimentary hour and we love seeing their happy faces. Speaking of happy faces, we had a lot of feedback on what makes for a happy relationship.  Getting started You never know where you'll find love. Our stories include couples who met during the first week of uni at Cardiff, connected at Sainsbury's in Bagshot, were introduced through friends and others who were introduced through parents. One couple met online and then met in person for the first time over what they thought was a terrible dinner! Another is below...

Two friends were sharing a house and one, upon learning that the other was about to leave back to Japan, decided to make his move. He asked her to marry him... and she said yes (after a month)!

Keeping going To keep the romance alive, we're heard how couples have travelled to Paris, honeymooned in Bali and arranged a surprise birthday trip to Scotland. One bought their spouse a car, an other special spa days with the family and one guy makes a special photo album of their memories to commemorate each year.

One Arsenal fan's husband supports Spurs and surprised him with tickets to a game... and she came along too! It's not just about the big gestures though. Couples have talked about how they appreciate the unnoticeable things too - like charging your wife's phone when the battery is low to taking care of the kids so the wife can have a much needed lie in. That one couple still reminisces and chuckles about the number of terrible dinners they keep having! Best tips (from over a collective 100 years worth of being together) Never take each other for granted. Be thoughtful to each other and work as a team. Be there for each other through life's highs and lows. Be yourself and love the other person for who they are. Don’t try to change them. Make sure you show and tell them that you love them. Listen to and appreciate your partner. Have respect for each other, be honest and learn to compromise. It's the little things that count: acts of kindness, support, and creating memories. Support and strengthen each other. One thing I've learned is that it's never too late to send love to that special someone in your life. Speaking of which, we love having you here reading our newsletters so thank you for reading and have a fabulous day, whatever you get up to.
