Our Directors Norman and Claire Murphy were invited by local resident and Hampshire Alzheimers Ambassador, Terry Eccott, to feature in a documentary film about living well with Dementia.

Our Directors Norman and Claire Murphy were invited by local resident and Hampshire Alzheimers Ambassador, Terry Eccott, to feature in a documentary film about living well with Dementia. Terry has himself been diagnosed with Vascular Dementia and has spent the past year being filmed for a new documentary about how Dementia affects his life. He has agreed to be filmed right to the end of his life and the NHS and main stream TV stations are then hoping to air the series of short films.

Claire and Norman were delighted to be featured in the film. Dementia is a subject close to their hearts as Norman's dad, like many of our customers, suffers from the illness. Norman is a member of the Dementia Friendly Alton Committee and Dementia Friends Winchester and is willing to do all he can to help or raise awareness.

Bluebird Care hosts regular Dementia training sessions, making sure that all of our Care Team are fully informed on this important subject.
