Working with Hampshire Search & Rescue

Published: 28/02/2020

This week we welcomed HANTSAR into our office to present about the valuable work they do in our community.

Hampshire Search & Rescue (HANTSAR) presented to our teams about the valuable work they do in our community, and in particular, the Herbert Protocol.

The Herbert Protocol compiles important information about potentially vulnerable people which is then used if they were to go missing.

Hampshire Search & Rescue, who are made up of volunteers, work alongside the police to form vital search parties if a vulnerable person is subsequently reported missing.

This could prove to be invaluable for some of our customers, so we will now be utilising this process within our care service.

You can find out more information about their work here.

We'd like to thank HANTSAR for such informative sessions, plus of course the great work they do each day!
