At the Bluebird Care Conference 2025 in Manchester, our Director, Jonathan Billington, was honoured as a finalist in the People and Culture Award. This recognition highlights his commitment to putting people before profit, building strong teams, and fostering a culture rooted in care, dignity, and respect. "I am incredibly proud to be recognised for an award that reflects what matters most – people," Jonathan shared. "Our teams bring compassion into care every day, helping others live independently for as long as possible. This remains the vision and purpose for Vanessa and me." Two reasons to celebrate milestones.
We received a delicious cake from our franchise to mark a decade of being a Bluebird Care franchise. What a great journey it’s been. We also celebrated Jackie’s birthday, our bookkeeper who has been with us for almost as long. At the heart of everything we do is a simple philosophy: We care for our team and our customers. We are so grateful for them all. Because those who give so much of themselves to others truly deserve to be celebrated too. Here’s to ten more years of care, community and connection and gratitude to the people who make it all possible!
