"I enjoy working with a variety of different people and my experience with our customers and colleagues has been the best the best move I have made."

Tamzin Storey

Trainer

I was interested in pursuing a career in health and social care from a young age, inspired by family members who were nurses and carers . After completing my A levels I worked in a local care home for people with physical and learning disabilities, before going to the University of Surrey to study nursing. After qualifying, I gained experience in acute care at The Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford, and The Royal United Hospital in Bath, before moving out into community practice where I spent the best part of a decade as a District Nurse in Bradford on Avon. I took a career break from nursing in 2022 to focus on family life but was called back to the care sector to take on a Training Coordinator post for Bluebird Care in September 2023.

The team at Bluebird Care North are incredibly welcoming and supportive, and committed to providing the best possible care for their customers. Their focus is on delivering exceptionally high standards of care and I am proud to be working with such a passionate and motivated group of people.

Outside of work I enjoy walking in the beautiful Wiltshire countryside and spending time with family and friends. My claim to fame is meeting Sir Kenneth Branagh in Riga while I was on a singing tour with my ex piano teacher’s choir!
