Bluebird's Talk Care campaign featured in Devon Life

This December, Bluebird Care Exeter, Exmouth and East Devon's campaign #TalkCare has been featured in Devon Life.

Bluebird Care Exeter, Exmouth and East Devon launched the #talkcare campaign on October 1st, the UN's International Day of Celebrating Older Persons.

The Devon-wide campaign has been featured in the December issue of Devon Life, where journalist Hannah Tait looks at asking difficult questions with Bluebird Care.

The Bluebird Care #talkcare campaign aims to provide a platform for people across Devon to voice their questions and concerns about ageing support and retaining their independence. The emphasis is on a positive, clear conversation concerning care and support, which Bluebird Care hopes will equip people to make informed decisions about their own care and that of family members.

The article comes after the recent release of our #talkcare videos, filmed during our roundtable discussion with Devon's leading experts in the health and care sector. Joining Bluebird Care Director, William Flint, around the table was Martyn Rogers from Age Uk Exeter and Exeter Councillor Andrew Leadbetter, cabinet member of Adult Social Care and Health Services, as well as leading health expert Dr. Michael Dixon and Tina Naldrett, Director of Care at Hospiscare.

The teams at Bluebird Care Exeter, Exmouth and East Devon hope that the #talkcare campaign will help encourage people to education themselves about their options so that they are able to adovcate for themselves, their loved ones and members of their community when it comes to planning for care.
