Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year - that's the equivalent to one person every three minutes. Our Exeter Care Team works daily with customers and families whose lives have been affected by dementia. We understand the central and supportive role that the Alzheimer's Society plays in their lives.
Thanks to all of our inspiring Devon Bluebirds who gave up their time on a wet Sunday morning for this worthy cause. Thanks especially to our Exeter Care Hub Supervisor, Dawn, who as our Dementia Friends Champion for Exeter, really carries the torch for all things dementia related within our team. Dawn helped inspire the Bluebird Care team to get involved and enter the Memory Walk together.
"I wanted to involve the rest of the Bluebird Care family as we all work with dementia patients on a daily basis, and I think that as a team we will be able to raise more money and awareness for the cause" - Dawn Osman.
